Alex Burrows is an award winning television promotion and commercial producer/director, originally from San Benito, Texas. He obtained his Bachelor of Arts in Communications from the University of Texas Pan American in 1993. After working in production, promotion, and advertising for 16 years at local TV stations, KGBT-TV4 and KRGV-TV5, Alex decided to pursue his passion for still photography. Concurrently, he works for the Harlingen Consolidated Independent School District as a substitute teacher, which allows him a great deal of flexibility with clients. Alex has a broad interest in all types of photography, from creative portraits, to the spontaneity of events, and the simple imagery in advertising. He lives in Harlingen, Texas with his wife, Martha, their beloved pets Sarah, Penny, Zoe and Beau. He loves the beach and the outdoors, movies, news and politics, social media, technology, and Mexican food!  He's also a big 80s music buff, and has dabbled in songwriting and music production, writing and recording over 40 original songs. In a few words, Alex is an artist at heart.
